Hello all,
here is some information on the 11th EuroWifCon in 2007:
1. Who:
anybody including newbies or pros willing to spend a week of their life playing WiF
2. When:
We have made fixed reservations for the hall for
Friday 05 october till Sunday 14 october 2007
3. Where:
Playing Hall: Schuetzenhalle Hofgeismar (same as last year)
4. How much (Con):
Hall/Tourney/Prizes: (same as last year) 35 EUR (about 35 $) for the whole week. Prizes amount to a retail value of about 200 EUR
5. How much (Sleeping):
Hotel Hans im Glück (Müller):
Prices reconfirmed in 2006 and differentiated old house/new house
Triple Room: 15/18 EUR/Night with breakfast buffet
Double Room: 18/20 EUR/Night with breakfast buffet
Single Room: 23/-- EUR/Night with breakfast buffet
We will book the rooms old house or new house for you. Single rooms are limited to 6 rooms old house only. Players from overseas or with special health needs will have first choice on single rooms.

7. How:
fill out the registration form on this homepage. There is no registration fee. You will receive notice within 2 weeks after your reg. form arrived. Priority is skills and deluxe or classic. Most players will want to play the 39 deluxe campaign. About 4 weeks before the con (early september) you`ll get a list of the players on your table, so you can agree on exact starting time, who brings a game, detailed optionals and so on. Notice that there is always the possibility of a last minute change of one player on your table.
8. Rules:
Certain optional rules are mandatory and you will be required to "bid" for MP and Victory hexes. (You can of course agree with the other players on your table as to whom plays what...)

nach (to): hofgeismar bahnhof

You`ll get a list with times and cost (1 person without special offers)
We`ll do our best to pick you up at the train station. Once you`ve registered and know when you`re coming, send me a Mail. I might also be able to pick you up at Frankfurt Airport on my way to Hofgeismar
By Air:
Frankfurt or Düsseldorf, then by train to hofgeismar
By Car:
Directions to the hall:
No matter from where you come, take the Autobahn towards Kassel. Use exit "Kassel Nord" when approaching from the north, otherwise use "Kassel Stadtmitte". Follow the signs "Hoexter Warburg Hofgeismar" (B 83 / B7). Approximatly 4 km after leaving Kassel, turn right to follow the B 83 to Hoexter/Hofgeismar. In Hofgeismar, take the second traffic ligt to the left. At the road end turn left. When you reach the main intersection turn left direction Liebenau on to the Liebenauer Strasse. Once you start driving up a hill enter to the right after about 200 meters.
Directions to the hotel:
No matter from where you come, take the Autobahn towards Kassel. Use exit "Kassel Nord" when approaching from the north, otherwise use "Kassel Stadtmitte". Follow the signs "Hoexter Warburg Hofgeismar" (B 83 / B7). Approximatly 4 km after leaving Kassel, turn right to follow the B 83 to Hoexter/Hofgeismar. In Hofgeismar, the street will turn right at a X-crossing. 50 m after that, turn left at the traffic lights. Go ahead until you reach a T-intersection with a furniture store ahead ("Moebel Engelhard"). Turn left. After another 50 m, you´ll see "Hotel (Gasthaus) Hans im Glueck" on the left side right before the next intersection. There´s plenty of parking space behind the hotel
11. Miscellaneous:
The hall capacity is max. 10 playing tables, usually matched at 5 players a table. Some tables might end up with 4 or 6 players.
If you want to play as a team, we will match you up provided there is another team of equal strength for the opposite side.
Early saturday we will award the prizes
